Join us in celebrating Welcoming Week, September 13-22, as the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne partners with Amani Family Services, Welcoming America, and YMCAs across the country. This national celebration embraces the contributions of immigrants and encourages us to come together as a community.
At the Y, we believe in creating a space where everyone feels they belong. During this week, we’ll host special events to connect with our neighbors, both immigrants and U.S.-born residents. Together, we’ll reflect on our shared values and the role diversity plays in making our community stronger.
Immigrant Experiences Panel | Thursday, September 19th | 7 PM Jackson R. Lehman Family YMCA Hear from local immigrants as they share their stories of coming to Fort Wayne and becoming part of our community, hosted by Tim Hallman, Director of Christian Emphasis.
