A one-time enrollment fee applies to all new memberships. The enrollment fee for all memberships is $75 except for students which is $15. (If your membership has been inactive for more than 30 days it is considered a new membership).

Membership fees can be paid monthly by a bank or credit card draft or annually in one lump sum.

One additional adult residing in the same household may be added to a membership for an additional $37/month. This fee covers the additional adult’s dependents. (This option is not available on student memberships or insurance-based memberships.)

Military Discounts & Initiatives

The YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne continues to offer local military service personnel the opportunity to participate in the YMCA at a special rate. Effective May 1, 2024, the military discount increases to 10% off each membership type with no joiner fee (an additional $75 savings). Existing members already receiving the previous military discount will have their membership amount adjusted to the new lower fee automatically beginning with the May draw. Members are only entitled to one discount per unit.

Eligibility for Military Membership Discount

Active military personnel including members of the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Space Force. Members of the Armed Forces Reserve, National Guard, new military recruits, veterans, and military service retirees are also eligible for the discount.

We offer a free membership to all 7th graders residing in Adams, Allen, Whitley, and Wells counties. Inquire at your local branch about how to take advantage of this option.

We believe that all kids deserve the opportunity to realize the value of who they are and focus on what they can achieve. Therefore, we offer a 50% scholarship to foster families. Please see your local branch for details.

Financial Scholarships help keep the Y within reach of everyone.

The YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne believes that finances should not be a barrier to participating.  Our goal is to put the Y within reach of everyone. Thanks to our many generous donors who support the Y’s Annual Campaign, we are pleased to  offer financial scholarships to offset the price of memberships at all levels.
