For campers looking for a fun summer experience. Based mainly outdoors, this camp includes weekly themes, swimming, arts and crafts, team building, leadership training, and singing many crazy camp songs. Weekly field trips are included.

Babysitting Camp (1 Week Only)

BABYSITTERS CAMP:
Babysitters Camp is for ages 11-14. During the week, campers will learn best practices when babysitting. The camp focuses on many skills like how to care for a choking infant or child, basic first aid, personal safety for the babysitter, injury prevention, how to care for children (feeding, diapering, etc.), preventing problem behavior, behavior management, ethics and babysitting as a business.

Leaders In Training (LIT)

LEADERS IN TRAINING:
This program is designed to develop future leaders by equipping students with essential skills such as First Aid, CPR, child abuse prevention, team building, leadership techniques, and strategies for leading youth activities. Participants will undergo a required first week of comprehensive training, after which they will assist summer camp counselors in leading games, facilitating activities, and building meaningful relationships with campers.
Details:
- Students must commit to at least 3 weeks of participation.
- Following registration, students will receive a request for an interview. Please note that registration does not guarantee a spot in the program.
This is a fantastic opportunity for students to grow as leaders, gain valuable experience, and make a lasting impact on their community!

Leadership & Lifeguarding (1 Week Only)

This camp introduces participants to learn more about what it takes to become a certified lifeguard by focusing on prevention, response, leadership and professionalism. This course will give campers the opportunity to be certified in First Aid. This course will focus on: responsibility, respect, caring, honesty, leading others, following rules, decision making skills, physical fitness, first aid, lifesaving and rescue skills, emergency response and how to help, teamwork and team building skills, effective communication, critical thinking and listening skills, some stroke development, shadowing lifeguards and gain effective scanning experience and also opportunities for volunteering.
