Financial Scholarships help keep the Y within reach of everyone.
The YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne believes that finances should not be a barrier to participating. Our goal is to put the Y within reach of everyone. Thanks to our many generous donors who support the Y’s Annual Campaign, we are pleased to offer financial scholarships to offset the price of memberships at all levels.

To streamline the process and redeem your scholarship, complete the fillable application form: ENGLISH | ESPAÑOL | BURMESE and gather the documents from the following list:
- Most recent 30 days of income for all wage earners
- Government assistance verification
- Social security documents
- Other sources of income
- Proof of unemployment
- Court orders verifying child support
Bring these documents and application to the Membership Services desk at any Y in Allen, Whitley, or Wells county, or email your completed form to the branch you are joining. This calculator is only an estimate, household income will need to be verified. All requests are kept strictly confidential. Scholarship amounts are based on ALICE household data for Allen County, Indiana.
