Wells County YMCA
Please note that the aerobics classes are going to 7-week sessions. Session I begins on June 8th and goes through July 24th.

AM Classes:

Low Impact Aerobics - Includes a low impact aerobic workout that improves coordination and balance. Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8:30-9:30AM. $42 per session.

Senior Chair - Low impact performed while sitting down to improve strength and coordination. Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:45-10:45AM. $42 per per session.

PM Classes:

Body Toning - Uses weights, body bars, and exercise balls to improve strength, tone muscles and improve flexibility. Monday and Wednesday 5:30-6:30PM. $28 per session.

Basic Aerobics - Includes basic aerobics, basic step, low impact weight training. Tuesday and Thursday 5:30-6:30PM. $28 per session.

Variety Fit Aerobics - Includes basic aerobics, hi-impact aerobics, weight training and body toning. Tuesday 7:00-8:00PM. $14 per session.

All of the above adult aerobics classes are held at the Bluffton Regional Medical Center's North Building, 1935 North Main Street (behind Walgreen's in Bluffton).

A class minimum of 8 must be registered for the class to run. Participants may sign up late for a pro-rated rate, once the class minimum has been reached.

Basic Aerobics with Rochelle Alberding

This aerobic class is for individuals who want to work at her/his own pace. This class will include a good cardio workout, coordination and balance improvement. A benefit of this class will be to help one lose weight and/or maintain it. Take advantage of this opportunity for a good stress releaser. Located at Bluffton Regional Center's North Building, 1935 North Main Street (behind the Walgreens, enter on north side of building).

Days: Mon., Wed. and Fri.
Times: 8:30-9:30am
Ages: Open to all High School Students and Adults

Chair Aerobics with Rochelle Alberding

The Chair Aerobics Class is for adults who are unable to stand for aerobics. The includes movement for the upper and lower body using hand weights. Located at Bluffton Regional Center's North Building, 1935 North Main Street (behind the Walgreens, enter on north side of building).

Days: Mon., Wed. and Fri.
Times: 9:45-10:30am
Ages: Open to all adults 60 years and older

Variety Fit Aerobics with Nicole Hoeppner

This class includes basic aerobics, beginning step, low impact weights (optional) training, cool down and stretching. Located at Bluffton Regional Center's North Building, 1935 North Main Street (behind the Walgreens, enter on north side of building).

Body Toning with Rochelle Alberding

Weights are used to improve strength, to tone and firm muscles, and help flexibility. Floor exercises are performed to help strengthen abdominal muscles. Participants will use hand weights, body bars, stretch cords and exercise balls. Located at Bluffton Regional Center's North Building, 1935 North Main Street (behind the Walgreens, enter on north side of building).

Times: 5:30-6:30pm

Monday through Friday when school is in session.

CHILDREN'S PROGRAMS:

Mileage Club

Mileage Club is a fitness incentive program for walking. Mileage Club is based on individual performance and not competition. Children become fit and learn to change activity behaviors by setting and achieving personal goals. Your child will have the opportunity to walk 2 days a week after school. Please wear clothes suitable for physical activity.

Feel free to ask any questions before signing the parental permission form ar at any time during this program by calling Terry Bibertstine (260) 824-5019. Permission forms can be picked up and returned to the school office. This program runs until spring break at the following schools:

Lancaster Elementary School

Ossian Elementary School
Wednesdays and Thursdays

Bluffton Elementary School
Tuesdays and Thursdays

Dream Team

Dream Team provides opportunities for children over the age of 3 years with physical, mental and/or emotional disabilities that may disqualify them from participating in typical community activities. Dream Team kids participate in year-round activities like t-ball, music, art, bowling and more!
